You said he didn't hurt her ok, so what can we say about what he did when she found out about the kiss in the newspaper? ( even though you said "you're married with somebody that is a life time commitment to always tell each other everything, and be honest to each other no matter what" so why he didn't tell her and he hid it????) What Mr Cinar did instead to apologize to his beloved wife for what happened he told her that she is doing a big mistake by slapping her and went after Yesim and left his wife who is pregnant.
Then when she was upset at him and didn't want to talk to him ( this is the diffrence between Lale and Toprak, that Toprak always forgives him easily), he got angry and left her and went to Yesim and gossiping about his wife in the Bar drinking with Yesim and believing the lies she was telling him about Lale then carying her to her room .
